I have a line chart with 2 dimensions, the date and a description dimension which splits each expression into separate lines. Some of the data points have comments attributed to them. Is there any way these can be implemented into the pop-up text box which currently only gives the expression value.
If I hadn't the second dimension I would have put the comment field as an additional expression but with the second dimension the chart doesn't function correctly.
Has anyone any ideas if this functionality is possible with my current chart?
Sample attached that uses a combo chart with custom pop-up labels, I use these labels all the time as the size and content and formatting can be controlled by me rather than by QlikView.
Couple of rules to follow:
1. Switch OFF text as pop-up on all your active dimensions
2. Switch OFF Pop-up labels on the presentation tab
3. Create a new expression which represents the pop-up label, have Text as pop-up switched on for this, make it invisible
Note: as in the attached example I sometimes find that I also have to add in a dummy value as a bar if all the others are lines, I can't find a reason for this but there you go......
