Comparing data between two Expressions from different tables

Hi ,

Can we compare data between two expression from different tables.

Attached the QVW.

There are 4 tables each table with different expressions. How do i compare between tables.

Lets say if data(Enq_ContactName) is available in last table  it should not be shown in any other tables

Please help me with this.

Thanks in advance,

Regards,

Hi,

I think, we can't compare the Other chart expressions. May be you can create a variable which you have used expression for other chart and compare with your current chart.

Or  You can try with Aggregation of fields and do the comparison

Note:

Lets say if data(Enq_ContactName) is available in last table  it should not be shown in any other tables

I checked your chart, i think it looks fine already.

check the excel attached which i combined all the expressions in a single chart..

Hi Periasamy,

When we select Mr. Balakrishna Adiga From Enq_Contact Name.

It displays in two tables. Last table and the table next to it.

Because it has two Off_Status Expired and Draft.

Since its already displayed in Last Table it should not be shown in the Next table.

Can you please help me with the solution.

What exactly you want?

Your all table contains Enq_ContactName as a dimension..

Contact Name appearing in table 4 should not come in another tables, is it?

yes Balraj. Names should be in any one table.

Its like a stages. Customer will move from first to last table. The customer who was in first table will move to each table.

But ae per you Offc_Status Data, one contact name is having multiple status.

MR K B Singh, he is into 3rd and 4th table beacoz he is having two status i.e Draft and Expired,

and if you split this status into two tables, it would come in both the table.

You may have overdone the reduction slightly . I would have kept 2 or 3 names with different statuses rather than just the one.

But if i understand you correctly - there is no way for one table to know directly what is or is not displayed in another table. But if the expressions in the two tables are mutually exclusive, then the name will only appear in one table.

yes there will be multiple status for Enq_Contact name. Expired and Draft.

If its draft it will be shown in 4th table and also for same Enq_contact name it will be expired. Those records should not be shown in the other tables.

tried with the expression i am not getting properly
