Compatibility - Version 9 and 10

Hello !

As a QV developer, I'm downloading version 10 right now.

However, my clients (end-users) are still running version 9.

Is there any problem ?

What if I recreate some QVWs that they are about to open using version 9 ?

Yes work fine, but if you to use new features version 10, isn't work in version 9, obvious.

You can run both versions on one machine. During the QlikView 10 installation process, change the installation folder to C:\Program Files\QlikView10. This folder will be created and QlikView 9 will be unaffected. QV 10 should pick up your licence from 9, if it doesn't you can copy the LEF details from 9 to 10.

You can then open documents that need to stay in 9 using version 9, and try out the new features in version 10.
