Conditional show/hide sub totals in Pivot table

Hi All

We've a bit tricky requirement on Display of sub totals in Pivot table.

We've a pivot table with more than 20 dimensions and 5 expressions and conditional sho/hide is enabled on them.

And our users want similar option to show/display totals on any of the columns they want, like we can do in excel on ad hoc basis.

Can you guys let me know if it is possible in QlikView.

Thanks in advance!

Surendra

Refer adhoc reports for this the same requirement you full fill from that use

Create a Dimension table and Metric table refer the samples in the sample folder.

Hi Gysbert,

This is very clever, but  how do you load twice the same dimension ?

I don't succeed and don't see any two loads for same dimension in your script.
Where is the trick?

Thanks for your reply.

Simply add a calculated dimension and then use just the dimension name as expression for the calculated dimension.

Thanks , I succeed now to add twice the same dimension and allow the hide and show of the total. Great !

Guy .
