Conditionally background color in bar chart

Hello everyone,

I need to show quarterly color. For coming quarters it becomes blue and for past quarters it becomes green.

I tried more times but still not getting any solution.

Please help me to find out.

Can you share some more information or sample data to look into?

Suppose I have 2017,2018,2019 years of data. So when I select year 2017 then all quarters in green color, if I select 2018 then quarter 1 in green and rest of the in blue color.

Hi, and if you try as background color expression with :

if(QuarterName(Date)=QuarterName(today()),green(),blue())

It shows only quarter 3 in green color

2019 data should be in green. I need show past quarters in blue and future & presnpr quarters in green

if(QuarterName(Date)<QuarterName(today()),blue(),green())
