Vista64 has two different admistration programs for the ODBC settings (odbcad32.exe in dir System32 for 64bit drivers and odbcad32.exe in dir SysWOW64 for 32bit drivers - pls don't tell me it look dumb!).
Qlikview, somehow embeds only the 64bit versions. I could not connect to my Postgres DB through the original PostgreSQL ODBC driver that works on 64bit platforms (I can use PGAdmin and see all data) but is not a 64bit driver.
For those who should have the same problem I advise to try the driver you can download (for trial) from OpenLink (http://uda.openlinksw.com/odbc/st/odbc-postgres-st/) ... probably also other "minor" platform could have the same issue.
If anybody has a better or cheaper solution that to buy a new driver for an OpenSource DB that already has one please let me know.
