Connecting multiple date fields together

Hi Experts

I have imported 10 tables in qlikview and each of these tables have got Year, Month and Product_ID. Now I want to join these tables together with Year Month and Product_Key wihtout creating any senthetic key.

So at the end I can view all the data through months and year.

Can someone help me on this please?

Thanks in advance

Waqas

Hi, Waqas,

it is very simple, enter in all tables this and comment in all tables except one the fields Product_Key, year ans month:

Product_Key & '/' & Year & '/' & Month as Keyfield

Thanks so much Martina for your prompt reply.

Do you mean to creat concatenated key?

Product_Key & '/' & Year & '/' & Month as Keyfield

I got this bit but what you mean by "except one the fields Product_Key, year ans month:" ?

Thanks

Waqas

also If I have KeyField(concatenated key) in all the tables then don't you think every single table will try to associate with every other table which will have KeyField? hence there will be synthetic key(s)?
