Connecting to an Authenticated Website

I am a subscriber to an authenticated site that provides industry data to my organization. I would like to connect to this website and pull data into a dashboard for our executive management but when I try to connect there are errors due to the username and password requisites.

Is it possible to connect to authenticated site?

How about trying to use WGET to download the data into local drive, then use QlikView to load the downloaded file?

Try the following syntax: "https://username:password@yourserver.com/someTable.xml".
