Copy data from Straight table and paste that data to excel sheet

Hi All,

Copying data  from table box is easily  pasted to excel sheet using 'copy data' icon  available in the caption tab of chart properties .

But it fails when I used straight table.

Could anyone tell how will I implement it using straight table.

I do not want to use 'send to excel' feature,I just want to copy the data from straight table and paste that data to excel sheet.

Thanks and Regards

Geeta

Hi Ashfaq Mohammed,

You are right .

Due to change in version , data is not copied  from the  straight table.

I came to know to  this point when I updated  my qlikview version from  11.2 sr4 to 11.2 sr6 and

created a new qvw file using the binary load of my previous  qvw file .

I have created new qvw file beacuse the previous file was giving the  same problem when I opened it in the updated version.

Copy data feature of straight table works fine in the newly created file

But due to binary load I did not get back , the front end of my application.

Can you tell some  alternative,  so that I get the  front end of my application   back ?

Waiting for your response.

Thanks and Regards

Geeta

Hi,

Geetha Binary load will just return you back your Data-model.

For front end you can use copy paste function from old file to new file.

or Rob Wunderlich can suggest any automate way if available.
