Copying sheet objects from 1 QVW file to other.

Hi All,

Can you please tell me ,is it possible to copy sheet objects from 1 qvw file to another qvw file.

Please suggest.

Yes man it is possible

You can open two application and the copy from one and minimize it and then paste in the other one .

Confirm that both the Sheets in the two different file have access to copy and clone setting by going to Sheet Properties>>>>Security>>>

Yes,

Simply select all objects by CTRL+A then copy CTRL+C and you can paste in your required app BY CTRL+V

Hi Deepak,

You can copy objects in one Qlikview file to another Qlikview file.  You can do it by using Ctrl + A (To select all visible objects) and Ctrl + C ( to copy objects) and press Ctrl + V in the destination qlikview file.

If you are not able to copy then check whether Object Properties -> Layout -> Allow Copy/Clone is enabled.

Also check Sheet Properties-> Security -> Copy/Clone Sheet objects.
