Count of number of unrelated records between two dates

Hello All,

I hope you can help me, I think I've asked this in the past but unfortunately failed to get over the final hurdle. With the help of you guys, I was able to get the first part of the application but now I'm hitting my head agaisnt a wall!

What I need to do, is count the number of tr_lot records where the type is 'ISS-WO' between the CYC-RCNT records.

What I currently have, is the expression that shows the previous date for the CYC-RCNT record, so I can get the DateFrom and DateTo for each CYC-RCNT... But now I need to count the number of ISS-WO records between these two dates!

I've added a test application that is looking at one product, I really hope you can help me!!!

Kind Regards,
Dayna

Hi Dayna,

i'm having a look to your problem but, in your sample file, DateFrom and dateTo are Null (or N/A) when the type is "ISS-WO" so, there's no possibility to compare with tr_ISSWO_Date.

Or perhaps, i don't understand your problem. Thx to give me more details.

Kindly,

Dayna

Hello!

Many thanks for your reply, the date fields are actually the same record I just renamed them to try and resolve my issue.. Would it help if I provided the data in its raw form with a QVD?

Many thanks!

I Have looked at your file but I agree with NALLET.

There is Null data.

So I do not see what you want or what your data is looking like.

Hello Martijn,

Please find attached, all I want to do is count the number of ISS-WO between the dates of the CYC-RCNT's. The date field is actually the same date field for all records - I can provide the data in it's raw form but not sure how to achieve my requirements.

Many thanks,
Dayna
