Count

I have done this kind of statistics several time, but this time I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. I would like to count the number of suppliers so I'm using the formula =count([Ragione Sociale Fornitore]) that I've always used. The point is that in case the supplier is repeated, it is counted only once, while I want to be counted twice.

What I'm doing wrong???

Sum di una stringa (Rag.Sociale) no dà alcun risultato ....

Hi Irene,

I think you have two similar data i think i.e like below ??? If so Qlikview will treat it as one

In Data Base:    Qlikview Treat it as:

C1,C2           C1,C2

A,1               A1,1

A,1

If this is the case please use Rowno() with you load script so that it will treat as two records.

load *,

Rowno() as Index;

Select *

then you will get the correct count.

Hi Avinash,

Do you mean the auto concatenation feature when two tables have identical fields?

In which case, simply use Noconcatenate before the Load statement...
