Create Report Table With Multiple Date Selections

Is there a way to have a report table that uses seperate date selections? Currently my report displays the table the way I want but if I want multiple date ranges I need to select and print those selections seperately. I thought about adding the date range, like Qtr., as a dimention in the piviot table which sort of works but I don't like the display which includes the drill down +.

Ok, so I think I ruled out using a piviot table and I convinced myself that you can't have two seperate tables with different date range selections. My plan now is to add a 'Quarter' column in the table. As it is now it doesn't create new records for each Quarter selected. It instead displays neither if more than one is selected. It still seems like I'm missing something.

Wait, I think I got it now. I needed to add 'Quarter' as a dimention.
