Creating Custom Users

Hi All,

I am new to qlikview and would like to get some help,

I am setting the qlikview server for the fisrt time in our company,

and would like to create 10 custom users,

I managed to create a user,

but I don't know how to authorize it to see documents,

please see picture of what i have got so far:

Nir,

QMC->Status->Select the task ->right click properties ->under distribution tab you can add users to see the doc.

Do i need to enable DMS authentication?

does it require a license?

Nir,

NTFS  means windows will control the application

and DMS means qlikview will control the application

So you can choose anyone of them , no it doesn't require any license.

Hello!

This response is a bit late. I stumbled on this thread while looking for something else.

Anyway, DMS authorization is not allowed for the Small Business Edition of QlikView Server. Enterprise Edition is required.
