Creating a report

I have created a Qlikview document that contains purchase order/sales order information.  I want the ability for the user to select

records from my table to generate a purchase order or sales order out of the information available.  Is this something that is possible with Qlikview??? I have searched & can't seem to find much information on using Reporting for Qlikview.

You can use the Qlikview Report editor to create the documents from selections. Attached is a simple example.

What I will need is the ability to print multiple invoices for each selection.  I have a straight table and the user will have the ability to select certain criteria and then have that data sent to the invoice or purchase order.  There's a field in the record called 'so' or 'po' to let me know if it's going to be an sales order or purchase order; so depending upon which one it is is what I want to print.

can qlikview be set up to determine which report to print depending on the type in the record????

I've attached my qvw.

If you are using a button to trigger the print, you could conditionally print either the SO or PO report, depending on what's in your data. I can't think of a way to do both at the same time if your selections included both.

You may want to give a try with the NPrinting product NPrinting - Office, HTML and PDF QlikView Reports which I believe may allow for report selection depending on data content.

Hello Michelle,

your case can be solved using QV Report.

QV Report is BI Network's pixel-perfect reporting environment for QlikView.

Let me know if you would like to know more: one of the things we do, is to provide free POCs to show that QV Report is the right tool for the job.

We have resellers in many countries: if you would like I can redirect you to the closest one.

regards,
