Hi Everyone,
My question is simple in an object-oriented world but difficult in QV. Hoping someone can help me with some solution ideas.
I need to produce a table that displays a count of customers (# of customers) who contribute to the top 75% of total spend.
So in theory I need to aggregate spend over a period of time by customer, then make this cumulative and count the customers who feature above the 75% value figure.
I'm having no luck in getting it to work all in a single expression. If I create a table with the Customer # as a dimension I can use the 'cumulative' tickbox to sum the spend etc... but I need this all to work in a single expression to give me a single count value.
Has anyone achieved this before?
Thanks in advance
Gareth
Hi,
look for actions and here pareto!
Thanks for your suggestion.
Unfortunately the table resides on a sheet with a lot of other tables that are unrelated to this calculation. Is there a way to code the action/pareto in the expression layer?
Thanks
Gareth
