General Query

Hello All,

Can someone suggest whats the best way to pick up some customers from Hierarchy 1 and some from Hierarchy 2 to create a Pivot chart showing the sales data for a month etc. Should this be done at the script level (Create custom Hierarchies applicable only to this group) or do it in the charts using Set Analysis? I am doing currently with SA in the charts, however my problem is that there are a list of 40 customers from Level 1 and 100 from Level 2. Can anyone suggest whats the best way to create customized hierarchies? At script level or in the charts?

Thanks in Advance.

HI,

of course on the script level, the HIERARCHY-function gives you the "leaves" (=new fields) in every level like Name1, Name2 and these fields you can than use in the pivot.

Hello Martina,

Thanks for the Quick reply, can you help me further with this though? I have a customer ALES in Level 1 (Field) and at Level 2 (Field)I have ALES1, ALES2, ALES3. Can you suggest me how to create a Hierarcy load with these please?

Thanks Again.
