I have provided the calculation condition and the custom message in the Straight table it is working fine in the Qlikvew client but it si completely getting truncated when it is in Ajax. I am using version 10. Because of Ajax i am getting lot of frustration.
You will continue to have issues with Ajax... hence modify the application keeping ajax in view. You may have to re-align a lot of headers also to have correct view in Ajax.
