Hi,

Is there a work around for a end user to create his own custom filter in an already developed qlikview app.

For example there are a lot of cities in sales analysis and a user wants to group those cities to east, west, center etc.

Your users could make the selections and then store them for reusing as bookmark. But for grouping cities in regions I would recommend to create such a field in your datamodel.

You can use Ad-hoc reporting for the same.
