Custom formatting Symbols for Y-axis values

Hi,

Is there a way to custom format the Y-Axis symbol (prefixed/suffixed to the values)?

Currently I have two similar type of metrics (with different units) to be displayed in the same line chart object.

  • Metric1 is in $ value
  • Metric2 is in % value

The input for metric selection is through a button click which is linked to set a variable value. I have correspondingly coded the Line chart expression based on the variable value and formatted the metric values using Num() function.

However, I'm not getting the $ and % symbol for each value on Y-axis. Is there any solution for this? Or am I missing anything?

Number Format Settings in Number tab is set to Expression default and I need the symbols for each values on Y-axis, so the Symbol option inside Number tab is not helpful.

PS: The formatting works if I have them in two separate line charts. The issue is only when I try to combine both the metrics in a single chart.

Thanks,

Shiva

Are you using a combo chart ?

May be, in the chart properties -> axes -> Dimension Axis -

change the continuous to custom.
