DB connection issue

Hi all,

I have changed my laptop this morning with reinstatement  of QlikView. So, i'am unable to reload apps because i can't connect to the Oracle DB. As usual, i have the connection string in my script with OLEDB CONNECT32 TO XXXX

See below the dialog box i get when i launch reload.

Thanks

Hi,

While creating the OLEDB connection string provide the Username and Password and test the Data Source Connection is successful or not.

If you provide the Correct password it is reloading or providing any error?

Try to create a ODBC connection with the User Name and Password or do you able to connect to the DB using SQL developer/Toad?

Ok. Try to create ODBC Connection or Delete the existing OLEDB connection string and generate a new.

Hi,

check with your database team that any changes in data base  pwd or username or server name.

Drop the Existing Connection from ODBCAD32 and comment the same in your script.

Click on Windows R and Type ODBCAD32 and Create a System DSN if you have Admin access else go with User DSN.Check the connection is test first then add the ODBC connection in Qlikview then reload
