I am looking for some advise on how to approach Data Hostorization in QlikView.
Currently in my Database I have a History table that list changes to Order line Prices. The History Table date stamps when these changes take place e.g.
Order Line No: N12345
Price: 100
Price Change: 110
Date: 01/09/13
Order Line No: N12345
Price: 110
Price Change: 115
Date: 01/10/13
Therefor when I look at my data today, Order Line No: N12345 is showing a Price of 115 which is correct. However I have a requirement to look at these changes over time and report the Price over a selected time e.g.
For Sept 2013 - I would expect to see Order Line No: N12345 showing a Price of 110
For Oct 2013 - I would expect to see Order Line No: N12345 showing a Price of 115
Please can you advise how this can be done is QlikView?
