Data is reloading but not getting updated in Access point

Hi Guys,

My data source is excel. We will update data every week. When, I run in my desktop, application is running fine and data is getting updated. When I send the files to deploy them in UAT, All the files are running fine but the data is not getting updated in Access Point. Does anyone came across this kind of situation?

I am using same QVD for both Server and in local desktop. I guess application is not creating issues. Will there be any issue while deploying in the server?

Not sure, that is what I am saying get the file from Qlikview server and then check whether it is updated with the latest data.

Or try like this, sometimes qlikview load from the Cache, clear the cache by following below steps.

Accesspoint -> Click on View Details link of the Dashboard -> Click the Remove Last Document State button.

OR

click Ctrl + F5 to load freshly from the server in Browser.

I am not sure where you are going wrong, but his are the possible reasons.  Cross check again, sometimes our eyes may not point out the error, take your friend/colleague help they may spot the error.

there might be several possibilities in QVD creation application,

1) The new excel file location is not inline with source file path location(defined initially)

2) New and old File Names might be different.

you can compare the .qvw log of the server reload and desktop reload

same .qvw, same source data, the 2 log will show no difference

Sorry for that Sunny.

I am the Admin, So I could run it locally. But when I sent this to deploy in Admin. It was geting executed in different directory and I haven't provided proper access to that directory.
