Date Diff (Working Days Only)

Hi,

I am looking for 2 formulas, one for the load script and one for an expression in a chart. Both formulas calculate the difference in two dates and have the same outcome.

I want to subtract two dates to find the date difference, however I only want to include working days.

for example (24/11/2009 - 20/11/2009) = 4 days, I want the answer to read 2 days as the 21/11/2009 and the 22/11/2009 are saturday and sunday and should therefore the excluded from the equation.

many thanks!

Hi ,

networkdays ( start:date, end_date {, holiday} )

Returns the number of working days (Monday-Friday) between and including start_date and end_date taking into account any optionally listed holidays. All parameters should be valid dates or timestamps.

Hope this will help You.
