My name is Solomon a new memeber of Qlikview family.
I have reccently joint and organisation just over 3 months ago and I am in charge of developing qlikview applications.
Am working on a procurement project developing an app which involves dates and I need help joining/triming two dates together.
within my original data I have a date format like
01/02/2017
05/04/2017
06/04/2017
04/01/2018
07/01/2018
05/12/2018
04/04/2019
03/04/2019
and I have create a seperate date format like
YEAR
2017
2018
2019
MONTHS
01
04
02
what I want to do is join 'YYYY' and 'MM' date seperately to my original data above so when I click on just 'YYYY' or 'MM' it will bring only the relevant year within the data.
I have tried using join [KEY year] on both the tabs but was not doing what I wanted
I hope I make sense and I can get answers from any Guru's out there
