Development environment - How to publish qvd or qvw files to server
Hi, I'm very new to Qlikview, We have developers from different plants/functional-areas., trying to setup a good development environment for developers. Once dashboard is developed(.qvw and .qvd files), how to pulish these files to the server, so that rest of the folks can access the dashboard.
From what I hear is, developers would have to manually copy & paste the files to the server. Is that the only option.
You could probably use some sort of code versioning software to manage a checkout/checkin procedure, but that would probably be harder than just copying file. In our shop, we usually just leave the files on the server, and access them from there.
