Direct Discovery dimensions

Hello Qlik Developers

I have created a direct discovery in which i have 30 dimension fields and 10 measure fields. According to my requirement i . want to use only dimensions as to create a information table on the front end of qlikview dashboard. Can i replace my dimensions as measures in the direct discovery script? as i know direct discovery script loads dimensions into qlikview memory and measures will be taken directly from the database. Please let me know
