Document Chaining issue in QlikView Plugin mode

Hi there,

There is a weird issue when tried opening document in QlikView Plugin mode or can say full browser version. It doesn't open the new document in same window and throws the above error.

Just wondering is this only possible in webview or is there any workaround or setting to open this.

Hi Subham,

Is there any section access in this document?  Current user has access to this document?  If user do not have access to this document then only this error occurs.

There is no section access applied in the document yet..even if we apply then we'll give access to same users in both the document.

Any idea. I have tried in two different servers as well and opening the new document(Document Chaining) in plug-in doesn't work?

Make sure you have allocated cal to both documents you use.

Yes, It's been allocated already. That is what we are able do document chain in web view but only the problem in plug-in way

Can you make sure you have same version of plugging installed as that of Qlikview server?

Hi Subham,

Did you tried accessing the Dashboards separately instead of document chaining?  If you are able to access then it definitely works in Document chaining. 

If the above not works then try by removing the bookmark.

A bit late here, but Qlikview help said Document chaining does not work for I.E. plugin
