Hi All
Can anyone advise on the following:
We have a Qlikview app (size of around 270MB when compressed). We do a reload on the server every hour to update 'todays' sales data, however what we are experiencing is that every hour on reload the app loses it's caching (memory) of the selections users have made, so every hour it's reset that when a user selects a worksheet it takes time again to load the page (i.e. Once you have selected it once and go back again, it's much quicker normally for the page to refresh as it's cached).
I'm wondering whether a partial or incremental load of the new data will make any difference as the data on certain pages is the 'old' data anyway i.e. does not have any of the new data to return. The current script reloads all the QVD's, so would a partial/incremental load then keep the old data cached when the load is finished or does the reload and saving of the qvw reset the cache anyway?
My thanks in advance for any advice.
Derek
