I have a qvw that when I open it it clears any selection made when it was previously opened, but I do not want them cleared.
I have checked that there are no triggers, any ideas what else might be clearing the selections?

The qvw make massive use of Alternate States.
It looks as if only selections from the default State are saved, but not from any of the Alternate states.
Have anybody else come across something like this ?
I have doubled checked the Section Access options in document properties within the tab open (left side) and no are selected and I have reloaded the document.
Did you check sheet actions also? We are just brainstorming here I am afraid...
Just double checked Sheet Triggers [Actions] and there none on any sheet.
I do suspect that it does not remember the state of Alternate States.
I tried it and it looks like it remembers. Simple case of course. See attached.

Yup, your sample qvw works perfectly.
I think I shall start with a fresh qvw and copy / paste object script into it.
