Double count records

The attached QVW file consists of two bar charts. The upper bar chart is correct. It shows the number of letter grades.

The bottom bar chart tries to count the number of students for each grade. It's correct if I only select one letter grade.

However, if I select more than one letter grades such as A and B, the same student having both grade A and B is counted twice.

Any advice to resolve this problem?

If you have to detail the count by grade, and if a student has both grades A and B but should count as 1, he would have to count as 1 in A and 0 in B for example, and this doesn't make sense.

I think that your requirement is inconsistent with your chart configuration. Or I didn't understand you...
