Dynamic Label For Total/Subtotal

Hi There,

                 Need a bit of help regarding trapping Parent Group Name so that I can create Dynamic Total Name.

I have attached an image for illustration purpose.

In the image where The total Section is Bold I want the Text as "Total for NET ASSESTS " and on the Second Total "Total For MEMBERS EQUITY"

PLease help.

You can use variable to set the name of the total.

the Labelling works for Grand Total not for subtotals,It doesn't Work Dynamically for each Group . It can only be used as a singleassigned value.

If you use pivot chart, under presentation tab, you can check for show partial sums and set label for totals.

Hi Janzen,

                 thanks for your reply. I was talking about dynamic Labels not Static ones . In the image I have posted, I was already able to create Statis Labels like "Total/ Subtotal" But I need something where it picks up the specific parent groups it belongs to which apparantly I was not able to achieve even through expressions.

Hi,

I was about to say that you can use a variable so that you can set the label you want. Use this variable inside the label for totals box.
