Dynamic definition of expression in chart based on selected field

Hi,

I'm trying to define an expression based on a field selection which contains the appropriate formula.

Is there a way that the expression retrieves the field value and understand it as a formula and not as a simple text value?

I have a similar problem; I'd like to have the Expression (KPI) in a field of the Product table and have a KPI "Product dependent".

i.e.

Product1, SUM(....) * 2

Product2, SUM(...) * 0.5

Have you a suggestion?

Sorry, did not suggest it as a qsolution.

Nama, why store the expression by product. Why not store the value you want to multiply by.

i.e.

product_table

Product1, Factor1

Product2, Factor2

and then calculate

Product, Sum(..)*Factor
