Hi All,

how can create dynamic variable?

i need to use taht one in calender object,if i select date in calender object that should be affected to varible in variable overview.

Hi,

goto

Settings in QlikView --> Document Properties -->  Variables(Tab).

Click on New button then a popwindow will coming asking variable name, Then in Value you can write your required expression.

Open the setting in qlikview and then select decument property then variables .click on Add to add a variable. After you created your variable name it like  calendar object and select your new variable after you enable the Variable(s) option. Once you've assigned the variable to the calendar object the value of the variable will change if you select a date in the calendar object.In setanalysis  youhave to use $ before Variable name so that it will work.
