Dynamically setting read-only property

Hi,

I have a question about setting the read-only property on a conditional basis. I have a pivot table which if clicked loads a pop-up of detailed information about the relevant record.

In my case I want this pop-up to be prevented if the user is not assigned the required privileges.

Can this be done?

Are the data really confidental you need section access - if not you could make a condition over osuser().
