Edit script window missing

I am unable to start the script editor. Whenever I try (Ctrl E, or File, Edit Script or click on the icon), QlikView just freezes. The only thing I can do is end the application in Task Manager.

I 'm using 64 bit v1.20  SR5 running on 64bit Windows Server 2008 R2

Please help me to resolve this issue.

Thanks

I had this happen to me a while ago.  I think the edit window is opening and it is just hidden from view.  Try these options to see if it helps

1) Increase the resolution of your screen to the highest setting to see if it is opening where you cannot see it.

2) Are you using dual monitors?  If so, change to a single monitor to see if it can be viewed.

3) Do NOT maximize the main QV window before you open the editor.  It maybe opening behind the main QV window and you cannot see it.

One other thing.

The editor window could be opening minimized.  Try using Alt+Tab to cycle through all open windows to see if the editor window appears.

Maybe ALT+SPACE followed by M (or your local key for "move" instead) and ARROW keys to move the script editor into visible screen range.
