Email alert not working on reloading task

Hello,

I have set up an email alert on a qvw that after reloading will send an email. The alert works perfectly when doing a manual reload, but it does not send an email when launching it in a reloading task from the management console (The alert is on batch and interactive mode). The mail server is configurated in management console and its working because i can send a test mail succesfully.

Any ideas?

I had the same problem. Try checking the box "batch" (german version, should be the same in english?) at the bottom of alert setup window. It worked for me.

Hi

as per my knowledge, QMC doesnt sends alert mails directly. you need to reload the application through batch file or schedule batch file in QMC and then trigger.
