Are you numbers from the table just random one or correlated to your data?

Does the blue color in the table have any meaning?

Whene user will select  2013-14 Period ( 1-4-2013  to 31-3-2014)  fin year then

  opening < 1.4.2013

  Joinies  >=1.4.2013 to 31.3.2014  ( full fin year if selected year)

   Resignies  >=1.4.2013 to 31.3.2014  ( full fin year if selected year)

  Closing = Opening + Joinies - Resignies ( up to 31-3.2014)

When user will select  fin year 2014-2015  then closing of 31.3.2014 will be appeared in

opening head count. Logic will be same for Qtr / Month

Please tell me more information you required for the same

Dear Robert,

1.  EMP.XLS is attached from live data only emp names are changed to XYZ/PQR  like this  and actual grades are available in excel.

  Closing = Opening + Joinies - Resignies ( up to 31-3.2014)

When user will select  fin year 2014-2015  then closing of 31.3.2014 will be appeared in

opening head count. Logic will be same for Qtr / Month
