Hello
in QV 9.0:
Settings-> User Prefs-> Objects tab - > "Ignore calculation limits" check box
I think your version at the same.
this option let create limit by memory in each chart object
Yes i had this check box selected.
but it doen't show me the pivot table
If you UNcheck this option (Ignore Calculation Limits) so you will get possible to limit for memory in each chart (pivot, as the same). i.e. "Memory" button on general tab in pivot properties will be enabled.
Hi,
I hope these points you should consider, if you get like this error.
1) Proper Data Mapping is require.
2) Try to avoid more synthetic keys..
3) Depends on your system RAM..
Regards,
Ravi....
You can limit of memory for your chart (by press memory button in General tab of properties) and then fill Error messages "Out of object memory" (press 'Error messages..." button in General tab).
Pivot Tables are pretty heavy objects (perhaps the heaviest in QlikView), and they can easily go out of memory if you have Dimensions with too many values, or heavy Calculated Dimensions, or heavy expressions with IF statements. Some of the things to consider:
- get rid of any IF conditions in Expressions and Calculated Dimensions
- avoid Dimensions that are too detailed
- If you have to use very detailed Dimensions, request that the User makes certain selections to narrow down the data set. You can do it using Calculation Condition (Properties, General Tab). Only show the table if a single Customer, or Product or whatever else is selected...
good luck!
What is get rid of any IF conditions in Expressions and Calculated Dimensions?? i don´t know too mcuh english sorry.
The other answer i had understood.
