In the below function:

Private Function copyObjectsToExcelSheet(qvDoc, aryExportDefinition) 'as Excel.Workbook

replace

Set objExcelDoc = objExcelApp.Workbooks.Add

with

SET objExcelDoc = objExcelApp.Workbooks.Open("C:\temp\Test.xlsx")

Hope this helps...

Hi Thirumala,

thanks a lot, it works with "SET objExcelDoc = objExcelApp.Workbooks.Open("C:\temp\Test.xlsx")"

Do you know how i can delete all workbooks in the excel sheet before i export the new data?

Erdal

Happy to hear that it is working,...

Regarding deleting sheets in a workbook, I think the below code should help...

After the below line:

Set objExcelDoc = xlApp.Workbooks.Add 'open new workbook

Add the below two lines of code

vSheetsCount = 0

Call RemoveDefaultSheets(objExcelDoc)

Now add the below procedure:

'Remove Sheets (default Sheets) from Excel Workbook

Sub RemoveDefaultSheets(objExcelDoc)

  Do

  vSheetsCount = objExcelDoc.Sheets.Count

  If vSheetsCount = 1 then

  Exit Do

  Else

  objExcelDoc.Sheets(vSheetsCount).Select

  objExcelDoc.ActiveSheet.Delete

  End If

  Loop

End Sub

Please close the thread if you are ok with the answer.

Hello guys,

I tested that function and works well, but I have a question.

How can I clean a range data of many sheets into an specific xls file.

I need a function to take the document and after that, clean range (A4:AAI1048576)  in order to put the new data in the same sheet but clean.

Thank you very much.
