Exporting table in a .txt file from Qlikview document pressing a Button

Hi,

I have a table and i need to create a button. when I press the button the table will be saved as .txt file format in a different location. I dont know how to write the Macro to get this functionality.

Could you please help me achieving this capability?

Hi Fred,

I can now able to save a .txt file in my local machine. But when i will deploy the dashboard  in accesspoint then what path should i put because other users are going to use it.

Is there any way we can add something which will prompt to download the text file when the user click the button.

Hi Achmed,

I'm at home at the moment, no possibility to try servers behaviour.

First of all, Macros on QV servers can be a real problem, so maybe it's not gonna work at all.

What you could try, is to save your .txt file on a network share, something like \\serverx\public
