Expression error

Hi,

Not sure why this expression is giving me error.

Even I have all the right field and the right selection

Sum({<[Year of Expense] = {$(varPlReportingYear)},

          [Expense Type (annual)] = {"*Rent*"} or GetFieldSelections(_ShowRentFlag)=1

          >} [Amount of Expense (USD-annual)])

I apprciate any help!

I see only 2 objects in the QVW (2 Table objects) but NO chart.

Can you please re-attach the file with the chart which is not functioning as required?

On this qvw everything is working normally but when i add it to the main dashboard, it gives me highers even I am using the same fields on the attached qvw.

Well if you have got this qvw working then I am not sure what data model is affecting when you merge this to the main Dashboard.

However, I have attached the method in which you can control the displaying Dimensions based on the toggle.

hi,

The data model is correct and have no issues, somehow qlikview responses to the expression in a wierd way sometimes.

the new qvw expression and dim that you sent me worked just fine on the main dashboard.
