Expressions in pivot do not show as columns

Dear all,

we are facing following Problem.

We have a flexible Report with dimensions and expressions, which are shown conditionally.

Initially the dimensons were shown as rows and expressions as colums -> everything was ok.

example:

Date               Sales            Quantity

1.1.2015          50                    5

2.1.2015           60                    6

Suddenly the expressions Show also as rows after activation and one has to darg them to the top, in order to see them as separate columns.

Now it Looks like this:

Date

1.1.2015                Sales       50

                              Quantity     5

2.2.2015                Sales        60

                              Quantity   6

This behaviour cannot be explained .

Anyone idea where this might come from?

Thank you

Ivan

Hi

maybe you just need to return them to their place,

if is pivot table only drag  rows to columns

Hi

Open the model locally in desktop, pivot the table and save the model again. That should resolve the issue.

Hi Jannet,

I know that expressions can be dragged, but it is not helping the user satisfaction , especially when previously the expressions were showing automatically as columns by default

Dear all,

yetserday I reduced  the number of dimensions (initially 129).

Today, after reload of the App everything seems normal again.

I remember there was some constraint on total number of dimensions, that can be used in Pivot.

Maybe thhis was the issue.

Thank you all for trying to help.
