Hey guys!
I'm trying to import this simple Excel table to Qlikview:
but when I do this I get an extra row (see the last row on the next picture):
This is bad since the first column will be my table's dimension and, therefore, I will get an extra - meaningless - row on my table.
Anyone know why is this happening and how can I fix it? I'm sure there's nothing (any spaces) in the row below the last row of my Excel table. This has happened to me with a few different tables.
Thanks for the help!
Did you add Where Len(Trim(dimMes5)) ; to your load script. ?
This is a different table, but the same problem is happening to it.
Yes I did, but it didn't change anything.
Any new ideas Andy?
Hi,
Once try to copy entire data from the sheet and paste in another new sheet.
Now try to reload the data from the new sheet instead of new sheet.
Thanks for the help Sasi!
I did try to use a different sheet. It's not hard to do it because my sheets are all really simple. But anyway, this is happening to EVERY sheet I load to my Qlikview job, and that's about 12 of them. The curious thing is that, sometimes, when I'm loading a sheet, the pre-visualization on Qlikview doesn't show the extra row (such as it did in the first picture I posted), but, still, the extra row comes up when I build the Pivot Table.
Any other ideas?
