You need to provide some more information. What do you mean by "Extract do Not Pull"? What are you trying to do an what do you want to see at the end of it? Can you provide examples?

Hi Jason,

Thanks for responding.

The problem that i am facing is as follows -

We have dataware house built in SQL server database. As a frontend we are using QlikView dashboard.

the process is that,

1. QlikView extracts data from the SQL server db and creats .qvd files

2. qvd files that are generated in first step are used to build dasboard (.qvw).

We have noticed that in step 1 we infrequently get a lesser sized .qvd files, in such instances we rerun the extract, sometime 2-3 times until it generates .qvd file with a correct size.

The logs do not show any errors however, data feteched in subsequent extracts is greater than the previous ones.

Hope this helps. let me me if you need anymore info.

P.S. your profile photo looks amazing

Thanks

Can you provide an example of your script? Are you using SELECT * or naming fields? Are you using a preceding LOAD?

PS - thanks 😉
