Extract to Excel 2013: Pivot Timeline function

Hi All,

I am using excel 2013 and when I take an extract from a .qvw file with dates, the pivot will not create the timeline function as it does not recognize the field as a date.

I have saved the excel first prior Qlikview extract and have changed the column settings to short date and still no dice.

Any suggestions?

Use the Date#() function that let the QlikView interpret the field as a date.
