Extracting data from Salesforce - Customized tables

hi all,

Can someone advise if there is any guide that can i find the tables names of the salesforce to let the QV connect and extract data?

I mean to customazed tables in salesforce.

I've downloaded the template model which include some tabs like 'case' leads' opportunities' etc but i can't see and dont know the tables names where the customized fields in salesforce store the data.

Thanks in advance,

Daniel

You might be interested to take a quick look at our Saleforce Connector:

http://www.qvsource.com/wiki/Salesforce-Connector-for-QlikView.ashx?HL=salesforcehttp://www.qvsource.com/wiki/Salesforce-Connector-for-QlikView.ashx

Where we have instructions on how to construct any SOQL query or SOSL search.

If you lke I could take a look at it with you in the new year to check you can access your custom tables and other data you need.

Thank you Chris,

I already saw it but it's don't like a Qlikview connector,

apparently I'm not familiar with this connector.

Is this the place to download the above connector ?:

Why "free trial" ?

It's not a QV integrally free connector?

No it's not free, it's a commercial supported and actively developed product.

My pleasure - I just wanted to make sure you knew it was an option. And as I say I can offer to spend some time on a screen share with you if you like to make sure it allows you to get the data you need.
