I have created a qvw application now it is not opening dono why

any ideas to recover that file

Is when you right click with in your mouse and open it like Aswin have sugested

Have you tried this?

1) Open QlikView Application -> Help -> About QlikView

2) Left side bottom you will see QlikView logo

3) Right click on the logo, a new window will open.

4) Here find the variable called "ApplicationRescue" click on that

5) Set the value 1 and click on set

6) Close qlikview and then try to open your corrupted qlikview application.

One last option...

see whether you can do binary load of the corrupted QVW into new QVW.. to check whether it is responsive...

Try this:

On the start page, highlight the .qvw file that you want to open, right click and select "Open <file name> without data".
