Failed to reload or open the documet

Hi,

I have a problem reloading and opening a document.

The document is set to reload every day. At the first 2 day's the document reloaded successfully and then it started to fail every day.

The log says-

Error: Document open call failed. The document might require username
and password.

If I tried to reload it manually through the document (without using the "QlikView Management Console") it worked just fine!

Today, the reload through the "QlikView Management Console", failed as usually, and I can't open the document any more: it says that it's failed to load and failed to open.

any suggestions?

I have to recover the document, at least.

Thank's you in advanced,

Hagit

P.s- The full log is attached

How can I Know which user is reloading through the "QlikView Management Console"?

I set it to reload automatic there, and I reloaded it manually (I have Full Developer Permission)

A couple of questions...

Are you opening the QlikView document with a Personal Edition version of QlikView Desktop?. In that case, in which machine has the document been developed?. If you have opened the QlikView file with a Personal Edition version of QlikView Desktop and that document has not been created on your machine you only have five opportunities to access the file. From the fifth time you won't be able to open QlikView files that have not been developed on your machine.

As for the reload task goes, it seems that that QlikView document has a Section Access implemented. The user who is trying to open and reload the QlikView file is the user that runs the QlikView Windows Services. If the QlikView document contains a Section Access either you have to specify a user that can open the QlikView document on the reload task or add the user of the services to your Section Access.

The document developed and tried to be open at the same machine, with full license. So it's not a license problem for sure..

And for the second part, the reload did work for two days and then stopped.

I'm the user that is trying to open the document and scheduled the automatic reload and I have full developer.. So I don't get what went wrong...

What error do you get when you try to open the QlikView document?.

Still, the error is related. You are not able to open the QlikView document on the desktop nor is the QlikView Distribution Service.

This are the errors while trying to open the doc.:

and I guess I still don't understand your explanation on what went wrong with opening the document...

I don't know what is wrong about opening the document.

I was wondering if you were opening it with a Personal Edition version of the Desktop or if it contained a Section Access.

Maybe this thread could be helpful:

I'm not using personal edition..

And thank's for the link- I tried that already and it didn't work

Sorry it didn't work.

For curiosity sake I'd try to do a binary load of the document just to see if the data model can be extracted.

If you are not able to open the document, nor on the Desktop or server, your desktop is licensed and the document does not contain a section access that is preventing you from opening the document I would consider getting in touch with support.
