File Reload error

Hi ,

I have scheduled a file to reload at everyday at a specific time.

Sometimes the reload fails with the below error.

The document failed to open.
        Document could not be opened
Reload failed because the document could not be opened        successfully. DocumentState=CouldNotOpenDocument
        Reload failed. Distribution skipped.
        The task "Reload_Task.qvw" failed. ErrorCount=5

And on manually clicking the run button, reload gets completed

Anybody faced this issue.

How was it fixed?

This error is due to Desktop heap issues in Windows.Increasing the desktop heap size and restarting the server would fix the same.

The error does not appear  due to the app or thescript inside the app as the scheduler failed even without opening the app.

We are facing the same problem and in our case the document was opened by a sales person while QlikView tries to distribute (Loop & Reduce).

We haven´t figured out how to resolve the issue but that could be the cause for your problem.

Unfortunately QlikView aborts the whole loop & reduce process when it happens... still searching for a solution.
